On Saturday, her mother, Sultana, was taking her home after picking her up from school. According to Nadeem, soil and debris lay on the road near an under-construction house. A tractor-trolley loaded with bricks was passing through the same stretch. When it reached the uneven and raised portion of the road, the trolley became unbalanced and overturned.The overturning trolley hit the mother and daughter as they passed by, along with other people travelling through the area. The mother and daughter became trapped underneath the trolley. The CCTV footage shows the tractor-trolley carrying bricks travelling over the uneven section of the road before suddenly losing balance and overturning. As the trolley overturned, the mother and daughter passing by came under it. The accident caused panic at the spot, prompting nearby residents to rush to the scene and try to pull the trapped people out.Local residents managed to rescue the mother and daughter after considerable effort and took them to a private hospital in Vasundhara. Doctors continued treating the girl as her condition was critical, but she died later in the evening. Sultana also suffered injuries and was discharged from the hospital after treatment.Eyewitness Shadab said the tractor-trolley was handed over to the police. However, when he reached the police outpost in the evening, he did not find the trolley there. Police officials later told him that they had sent the tractor-trolley to the police station.Police official Amit Saxena said police had registered a report based on a complaint by the girl's father. Police seized the tractor-trolley and sent it to the police station.
