Car at 100 km/hour on rampage, hits multiple vehicles, throws man into air

The impact was so forceful that the rider was thrown nearly 15 feet into the air, somersaulted three times and landed around 30 feet away on the road. The car then continued ahead, hitting two e-rickshaws and an Activa coming from the opposite direction. One of the e-rickshaws overturned completely in the impact.Another e-rickshaw driver, who witnessed the incident, told India Today, “The accident occurred at around 4 pm. I was riding my e-rickshaw with two passengers when I saw the car hit a bike first and then ram into another e-rickshaw. The accident occurred because the car was speeding at around 100 kmph.”The driver, identified as Jatinder Pal Singh, suffered minor injuries in the accident following an indirect collision. He said the two passengers travelling with him were not injured. The injured were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Police reached the spot, took the car into their possession and launched an investigation into the accident.No arrest had been made at the time of writing. - Ends
