Cain forced to take a stand in Emmerdale as war between Moira and Sadie bristles

Sadie’s return is impacting more than just Nicola (Picture: ITV) Sadie (Patsy Kensit) is clearly used to getting what she wants, but it won’t be Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley). Not in this lifetime. Sadie is back in Emmerdale Village with a big plan – to get her hands on Jimmy King’s (Nick Miles) cash. She showed up right after he died, claiming that she and Jimmy had been in a relationship for years and now just wants to say goodbye. But we quickly learned that it was all tosh when it was confirmed she’d been editing herself into Jimmy’s photos to fabricate a relationship. She’s also raised eyebrows by constantly trying to sneak into Nicola’s gaff searching for money. Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) is on board with her plan as well, having invited himself. He blackmailed her for a cut of whatever cash they manage to find after working out her lies. So, we know Sadie is up to no good, we just don’t yet know exactly what. Moira had her sussed the moment she saw her, suspecting her return to be no good thing. Cain, for one, is not happy to see her when they bump into each other for the first time. It’s a tense catch up, and it’s not long before she tells him he still owes her the £2million he once stole. But with the ice broken, the pair are free to catch up, however awkward it may be. And there’s a lot to catch up on, other than the theft of the two million. When they’re done, Moira makes a comment that Cain omitted his cancer diagnosis when speaking with Sadie. What possible reason could he have for doing so? Other than the fact he was enjoying Sadie’s attention and didn’t want to turn it into sympathy. Cain is caught off guard by her insinuation, but Moira’s rage does not abate.
