Cain broken over sad news in new Emmerdale spoiler video as devastating death looms

Viewers will recall that there were fears for Monty the Dog after he was trapped in a burning barn last month. Cain rushed him to the vet, where Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) revealed that he had suffered smoke inhalation. Tragically, that wasn’t the only thing he found, and Monty has since been diagnosed with cancer. In a new spoiler video, Cain tries to stay optimistic as he points out that Monty seems better. However, Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) is on hand to play devil’s advocate, explaining that Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) had said that Monty’s tumour could spread and there’s nothing they can do. He then points out that when his cancer was diagnosed, the family refused to give up on him, and questions why they aren’t treating Monty the same way.
