A Christmas-themed take on the beloved Easter egg concept will be available to enjoy this year and is already available to buy. The Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons Smash Bauble is a round Cadbury Dairy Milk shell enrobed in the brand’s signature purple foil. Inside the smashable treat, you’ll find a handful of a timeless Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons. The edible bauble can even be hung on your Christmas tree – thanks to the hole in the foil that allows for string to be threaded through. The 90g chocolate delight is available to order now for £2.70 from the Cadbury Gifts Direct website, with supermarkets set to have it on shelves soon. A Cadbury spokesperson told The Sun: “It seems it’s never too early for a little festive magic! We can confirm the rumours are true: the Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons Smash Bauble will be joining our Cadbury Christmas line-up this year. Most read in Money Hinting that there’s plenty more festive sweetness to come, the representative added: “Whilst some of our eagle-eyed fans may have caught an early sneak peek, we’re keeping the full details of our festive range under wraps for now. “We’ll be unveiling them nationwide soon, so watch this space!” Reacting to the launch, Cadbury fans couldn’t help but point out its resemblance to an Easter favourite, with some even hailing it “genius”. “Yassss, now I can get an Easter egg at Christmas,” one commenter wrote on social media. “Need!!!
