Buchwald Signs Actor Matthew Keoni Sato

EXCLUSIVE: Actor Matthew Sato (Doogie Kameāloha, M.D.) has signed with Buchwald for representation. They’ll rep him in most areas, including film, TV, theatre, and voiceover. Sato is best known for his role as Kai Kamealoha on Disney+’s Doogie Kameāloha, M.D. and has also appeared in Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Other television credits include Peacock’s Saved by the Bell reboot and Grown-ish, the spin-off of ABC’s Black-ish. Sato began his acting career at age 13 with his first principal guest star role in Hawaii Five-0. On the film side, he was seen in the 2024 supernatural horror film Imaginary from Blumhouse. His digital work includes a 33-episode role in Chicken Girls, the popular teen drama web series on Brat TV’s official YouTube channel. Most recently, Sato joined the recurring cast for Season 2 of Untamed, the hit Netflix crime drama series starring Eric Bana. He continues to be repped by Skrzyniarz & Mallean. Watch on Deadline
