BTS Plans to Add More ARIRANG Tour Dates & Work on New Music & Solo Projects in 2027

HYBE shared the news while going over its record quarterly earnings. BTS Courtesy of HYBE HYBE has reported big earnings this quarter — and even bigger plans for BTS. The behemoth South Korean music and entertainment company revealed while going over its record quarterly profits on Tuesday (Nov. 3) that the Bangtan Boys intend to extend their ongoing ARIRANG World Tour further into the first half of 2027. The septet is also planning on working on new material for full-band endeavors as well as individual purposes. “We plan to announce additional dates for the tour and are also preparing for the group’s post-tour activities, including both group and solo projects,” CEO Lee Jae-sang said during an earnings call, according to The Korea Herald. “HYBE will unlock greater possibilities and move toward the future without resting on its laurels.” In a press release, the company reported an all-time high revenue of 1.52757 trillion Korean won, which is equivalent to $1.135 billion, as well as an operating profit of 188.5 billion Korean won, which is equivalent to $140.35 million, for the third quarter of 2026. Driven by “BTS’ world tour and continued progress in [the band’s] multihome, multigenre strategy,” both figures surpass the financial records set in HYBE’s previous quarter, the company said. Following the release of three-week Billboard 200-topping album ARIRANG in March, BTS embarked on its global comeback trek in April. So far, bandmates RM, Jin, Jimin, Jung Kook, SUGA, V and j-hope have visited stadiums across Asia, North America, Europe and Latin America; following a few weeks of time off the road, they’ll resume later in November for another run of shows in Asia as well as stops in Australia. At press time, the tour’s previously announced dates run until mid-March in the Philippines. “Looking ahead, BTS will continue its world tour through the first half of 2027 while working on music and other projects,” reads the release from HYBE, echoing Lee’s comments on the call. “Broader artist activities and continued development of HYBE’s global infrastructure and platform services are expected to support further growth.” Get weekly rundowns straight to your inbox Sign Up
