The Browns made a pair of roster moves on Thursday morning. They announced the signing of cornerback Jeremiah McClendon. Cornerback Tyron Herring was waived with an injury designation in a corresponding move. McClendon signed with the Saints after going undrafted in April, but was waived in late May. He had 59 tackles, two tackles for loss, two interceptions, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery while at Southern Illinois last season. Herring signed with the Browns in May. He spent time on the practice squads of the Packers and Patriots in 2025. The Browns play their first preseason game of the year on Saturday.
