The Broncos had a pair of players leave Sunday’s loss to the 49ers with ankle injuries, but early word on both is that they avoided serious injuries. According to multiple reports, wide receiver Pat Bryant suffered a sprained ankle when he went down in the second half. Bryant is expected to miss a few weeks with the injury, but should be back to contribute to the team. Cornerback Pat Surtain II had the other ankle injury and reports are that he will also avoid a long-term absence. In addition those injuries, the Broncos also saw cornerback Riley Moss go down with injured ribs.
