Broncos waive fifth-round rookie Justin Joly

Broncos tight end Justin Joly did not.Joly, a fifth-round pick out of North Carolina State, is being released, according to Mike Klis of 9 News.If he clears waivers, Denver will likely ask Joly to come back on the practice squad.Joly had an 88-yard touchdown catch in last week’s preseason finale, which many thought was the big play he needed to make the roster. But that proved not to be enough, and now he’s available on waivers to any team that wants to put in a waiver claim and add him to its 53-man roster.
