‘Broke my heart’ – Alphonso Davies opens up over Jamal Musiala’s terrifying collapses and ‘neurological dysfunction’

ALPHONSO DAVIES has backed Jamal Musiala to “come back stronger” after collapsing TWICE ahead of the new Bundesliga season. The Bayern left-back, 25, told Deutschen Presse-Agentur: “These two incidents broke my heart. “The doctors are doing everything they can to help him through this situation. “The best thing we can do as a team is give him positive energy so that he can keep a clear head and fight his way through it. “We’ll support Jamal, not just as a player, but as a person. We have to support him as a friend, like a brother. But I know Jamal, and I know he’ll come back stronger.” Musiala was diagnosed with a neurological dysfunction which causes absence seizures following his terrifying collapses. But the six-time Bundesliga champion insisted he will be back on the pitch soon.
