British outdoor clothing chain with 47 stores launches ‘everything must go’ sales at THREE branches closing for good

A POPULAR outdoor brand has slashed the prices of stock as part of huge closing down sales. The high street giant has launched “everything must go” sales across various stores. The number of UK Millets stores has drastically reduced over the years, with 47 left of around 120 stores. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! Portsmouth, Ipswich, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Hitchin are among locations that have lost Millets branches this year. Many have been converted to Go Outdoors stores or simply closed down entirely. Three more Millets stores are currently running closing down sales, with the end of trading imminent. The Millets branch in Chippenham launched its store-wide sale on September 8, following on from the Tenby site which began its closing down sale in August. The Bracknell Millets shop is also running “everything must go” discounts, ahead of its September 12 closure date, reports Bracknell News. Millets stocks brands such as The North Face, Merrell, Berghaus and Salomon. Millets fans need not worry that the brand will disappear forever – it will still remain available to shop online, even amid high street closures. The Sun has contacted Millets for comment.
