A BRITISH clothing chain with 47 branches across the UK is set to shutter a town centre store. Ahead of the closure, the shop has launched a closing down sale, telling customers “everything must go”. Staff asked about the closure were unable to comment as to when the branch was expected to shutter, reports The Western Telegraph. They also couldn’t confirm if the store would reopen as a GO Outdoors. The outdoor retailer has shuttered a number of other UK branches this year including Glasgow, Portsmouth, Aberdeen and Ipswich. Six locations also closed their doors in 2025, however four branches were reopened under the GO Outdoors name, a sister brand of Millets. These included sites in Lowestoft, Douglas, York and Grimsby. Millets is best known for selling a range of clothing, shoes, camping equipment, and tents at reasonable prices.
