A BRITISH tourist has died in a horror parasailing accident in Benidorm while on holiday with her husband. The 66-year-old crashed onto rocks after a powerful gust of wind caused the line tethering her parachute to the boat to snap. He is believed to have suffered broken ribs and was reportedly “walking wounded” following the horror crash. The tragedy unfolded in Benidorm’s Rincon de Loix are at around 6pm on Monday after a sudden change in weather conditions. Prior to the incident, a red flag was raised, warning holidaymakers at the famous Costa Blanca resort. Witnesses described chaotic scenes as the parasail spiralled out of control. After the line snapped, the couple hurtled towards jagged rocks as they were left at the mercy of the wind.
