TIKTOK star Millie Taylforth has revealed she secretly took fat jabs – but admitted it led to scary side effect. The content creator, 25, said she took Ozempic back in 2023 and “lost a lot of weight very quickly”, but as the months went on she noticed her appetite had completely disappeared and she was struggling to eat at all. Sharing a new video on social media, she said: “I am admitting today that I am one of the influencers that took Ozempic. Sign up for the Showbiz newsletter Thank you! “I did it for six months in 2023 and I lost a lot of weight very quickly. “At first it was great because I was having a balanced diet but as the months went on, I could literally not bring myself to eat anything. “My love for food completely vanished, which does what it says on the packaging,” as she gave the medication a round of applause adding: “Very effective, but it was a really uncomfortable psychological experience for me. Millie said she is still experiencing side effects three years on Credit: Tiktok She said it has ‘permanently changed her palette’ and taken so much joy out of eating’ Credit: Instagram She continued: “Then after five months of taking Ozempic, I had a very rude awakening because I had injected too much and once it’s in, it can’t come back out again and I injected about 7pm and woke up at 2am and could not stop throwing up. “But obviously I had nothing to throw up because I had not been eating anything, so I was just retching. Most read in Showbiz “I had hit my goal weight but then I injected to much, so I was no longer in control of how much weight was dropping off my body.” Millie went on to say that the side effects have last three years and are ongoing, as she still battles with her “taste palette”. “After a few days, I stopped feeling sick but I had zero appetite to a ridiculous level, for weeks and months and it really really scared me,” she shared. “I stopped taking and haven’t taken it again because I truly realised how out of control I was. “I was not in touch my my own body. “It permanently changed my taste palette, I do not like the same foods at all and it’s taken so much joy out of eating for me and I haven’t taken it for three years now.” Millie previously revealed how she decided to quit school to become a full-time influencer. And she has no regrets because she now rakes in up to £40,000 a month by sharing every snippet of her life with her 600,000 Snapchat followers. She first started posting dance videos on YouTube aged 12, and eventually began making money from her posts through ads and brand partnerships. As her passion for social media grew, Millie, from Manchester, then began sharing content on Snapchat, which she says she loves due to its “rawness.” “I love the fact that I can post as many times as I want to without feeling like I’m spamming my story”, she said in 2024. “My followers really get to see the real me.” As Millie’s side hustle became more fruitful, she decided to leave education during school sixth form, and focus solely on creating content. However, coming from a long line of teachers, her parents weren’t on board with the idea because she was expected to follow a similar career path. After showing them her earnings, Millie convinced her mum and dad to take her career choice more seriously and they decided that if she showed them consistent results for six months, they would support her dream. Millie’s earnings skyrocketed over the following months, and in her best month to date she earned a whopping £40,000. Comment now
