A BRITISH mum who died “suddenly” on a family holiday in Turkey has been remembered by her devastated loved ones as “incredibly strong, loving and selfless”. Shelly Dean, 58, from Leeds, died on Saturday while on holiday with three of her children and their families. The family are now scrambling to meet the “unexpected and overwhelming” cost of bringing her body home to the UK, cover medical expenses from Turkey and pay for funeral arrangements. Her sister Denise Peel said Shelly, who first became a mother at 16, was the “best big sister” who was funny, caring and loving. “I’m truly honoured to have been your sister,” she said. “I’ll never ever forget you and I’ll treasure our memories forever. The family said every contribution would go to bringing Shelly back to Britain. “From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity and support,” they said. “It means more to our family than words can express. “Rest in peace, Shelly.
