Brit, 26, shot multiple times and killed in America as cops launch manhunt & family pay tribute

A 26-YEAR-OLD British man who died after he was shot while in America has been pictured. Jamie Thomas Stephen Lomas was killed on August 22 and police in Kent, Washington, have launched a murder inquiry. Officers raced to a domestic disturbance at a house near Lake Youngs at around 12.20pm. Mr Lomas died from multiple gunshots wounds King County Medical Examiner’s Office report found. Mr Lomas’ loved ones’ have launched a GoFundMe to raise money for repatriation costs. The page was started on behalf of Jamie’s aunt Sharon Day. The fundraiser reads: “Jamie was only 26 years old. He was a loving family man, deeply loved by everyone who knew him. “He had so much life ahead of him, and we just cannot believe that we are having to say goodbye to him “Jamie was tragically murdered in America, and our family has been left completely heartbroken, struggling to come to terms with such a devastating sudden loss. Most read in The Sun “We never imagined we would be in a position where we would have to ask for help like this, especially so soon after loosing grandad.” They added: “Jamie was loved so much, and he will be missed every single day. “There are no words to describe the pain our family is feeling right now. “Please help us bring our Jamie home.” “Fly high, Jamie. You will never be forgotten.” A spokesman for King County Sheriff’s Office added: “On August 22 at about 12:20pm King County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance, that had occurred at a residence located on the 23000 block of 156 Ave SE. “Deputies arrived and secured the scene. “No arrests at this time and this remains an active investigation by our major crimes detectives.” A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who died in the USA and are in contact with local authorities.”
