Development on the latest installment in the Brendan Fraser-led franchise properly kicked off in late 2025, with Radio Silence duo Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett directing and Orphan: First Kill's David Coggeshall penning the script. The months that followed saw Rachel Weisz confirmed to return as Evy, alongside John Hannah as her brother Jonathan, Oded Fehr as Ardeth Bay, Kevin J. Connor as Beni, and the addition of Numan Acar and Obsession's Michael Johnston. Now, on the heels of the announcement that both he and original star O'Connor were officially confirmed to be back for Brendan Fraser's long-awaited sequel, Fehr took to his Instagram to celebrate his Mummy 4 return.
