One of the newest commercial airlines in the United States, Breeze Airways, since its inception in 2021, has quickly developed an extensive network of secondary routes across the country. The Utah-based low-cost carrier primarily operates on routes with no competition, focusing on secondary airports and bypassing the big, dominated hubs. Breeze is adding a total of 15 routes from Raleigh–Durham International Airport (RDU) between May 2026 and June 2027, as the airline continues to develop its network. The airline operates a fleet of more than 60 Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
