Police have been called to the scene of a plane crash in waters off Groote Eylandt.In a statement to the ABC this afternoon, NT Police confirmed it received "reports of a small aircraft crash in waters near Angurugu"."Police received the report shortly after 11:40am and members are currently responding to the incident," the statement said.Authorities "are working to confirm the circumstances of the crash and the number of people involved", with investigations ongoing.Loading
