(Supplied)Three men have been found guilty of killing Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson and their friend Carter Rhoad while they were camping in Mexico in 2024.Jesús Gerardo, known as "El Kekas", Irineo Francisco and Ángel Jesús — whose full names have been withheld for legal reasons — have been on trial in a Mexican court.A judge found all three men guilty of aggravated homicide and several related offences.The three victims were killed during a surfing trip in Mexico's Baja California region, on the Pacific coast, in April 2024.The prosecution told the trial that the men were murdered during a robbery gone wrong. The defence had attempted to argue there was not enough evidence to prove the case.Jesús Gerardo, alias El Kekas, had a reputation as a violent hit man, the trial heard. (Supplied)The brothers' parents, Debra and Martin Robinson, travelled from Western Australia to attend the trial and were in court when the verdict was handed down.A day earlier, Ms Robinson asked the court to hand down "a maximum sentence of imprisonment on those responsible"."No sentence can bring Callum and Jake back; nothing can undo what has happened, but accountability matters," she said in a victim impact statement.
