The Japanese carrier's commitment was already part of the Brazilian regional jet manufacturer's backlog, but, until now, it had been listed as an undisclosed customer. Embraer has also announced 20 Embraer E195-E2 orders from the Abra Group. These are supplemented by another five commitments to the type by Spanish regional carrier Binter Canarias, while Luxair has put its name down for two units of the smaller E190-E2 model. The commitments came from Latin American airline group Abra — which includes Avianca and GOL — Spanish airline Binter, Luxembourg flag carrier Luxair and Japan's Fuji Dream Airlines, and were unveiled during a late-morning briefing led by Embraer Commercial Aviation President and CEO Arjan Meijer.
