That Fallout 4 Mod A Musician Bigged Up Got So Much Attention That The Comments Have Been Taken Down Published Sep 9, 2026, 8:12 AM EDT Yesterday evening, PC Gamer broke the brilliant story about how the frontman of Breaking Benjamin, Benjamin Burnley, went on a four-minute rant about his Fallout 4 mod. Putting his own gig on pause, Burnley went after someone who dissed his mod and encouraged everyone in the crowd to go home and download it. The mod in question is True First Person, and it was uploaded to Nexus Mods on September 1. It looks like his call to arms worked, as the mod has been viewed 46,704 times, with 3,160 downloads. However, it might have worked a little too well, as it looks like either he or Nexus Mods staff have taken down the comment section. I Guess A Whole Lot Of You Checked Out Benjamin Burnley's Fallout 4 Mod When I had a gander at the mod last night, Nexus Mods users were free to drop a message in the posts section. Of course, given how that clip of Burnley bigging up the mod has gone viral, many of the comments left by users had nothing to do with the mod and were just going on about the clip. If you went back far enough, you could see some more typical modding discussions (technical issues and the like), but that was quickly being drowned out by the chatter about Burnley's stunt. So, either Burney thought it was getting a bit out of hand and wanted the posts to stay on-topic, or a Nexus Mods moderator stepped in and shut it down. A real shame - but at least the mod remains, and Burney can keep putting it in the spotlight. As for the mod itself, it aims to improve Fallout 4's first-person mode. It does this by having you able to see your body when you look down at your character model. Admittedly, there are plenty of other mods that do the same thing, but Burnley was eager to show off how you actually stay in first person regardless of what you're doing, even if you're using a workstation or entering power armour. With that said, it's worth pointing out that the mod is listed as AI-assisted. This is a new tag used by Nexus Mods, and it means that there was some AI involvement in the mod: "AI texture upscaling, AI audio upscaling/cleaning, AI concept art not in final mod content", according to Nexus' guidelines.
