Despite the disappointing news regarding Mistborn's release date, Sanderson offered a few bits of good news during Mistborn's 20th anniversary livestream on his YouTube channel. The fantasy author revealed that after the script for the Apple TV film is complete, he and the studio would be open to the idea of adapting another book from the series, Secret History. However, at the moment, Sanderson's number one priority is to get Mistborn's script done perfectly before even thinking about upcoming projects. So, while Secret History is almost certainly going to come out later on, he and Apple TV's creative team don't plan to work out those details for a while. More to come...
