Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available. Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show. Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far. She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism. During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it. Joe is officially back on track. Paramount Pictures has officially set a theatrical release date for its upcoming G.I. Joe reboot, finally allowing the long-running action franchise to return to the big screen. The upcoming film adaptation of Hasbro's popular military toy line will premiere on October 20, 2028. It will be directed by Danny McBride and star Bradley Cooper as Duke. The announcement comes a little over a month after Cooper's casting was confirmed for the project. McBride co-wrote the adaptation with Jeff Fradley and John Carcieri, both of whom previously worked with him on HBO's The Righteous Gemstones. Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and Zev Foreman will serve as producers for Hasbro Entertainment. The G.I. Joe reboot will debut in theaters two weeks before another major Paramount project. The studio is developing a movie that is currently untitled by the creators of Stranger Things, Matt and Ross Duffer, scheduled to be released on November 3, 2028. Story details for the Duffer brothers' upcoming film are unknown at the time of this article's publication. Paramount has not officially revealed the storyline or announced cast members aside from Cooper. However, despite the lack of information, the new release date is still a major step forward for the revival of G.I. Joe on screen. The Hasbro franchise has experienced several setbacks and failed attempts to bring the iconic character back into the film industry, but things appear to be turning around. McBride has previously discussed potentially having Duke and a group of G.I. Joe agents entering Springfield, a fictional community that is controlled by the terrorist organization Cobra. However, Paramount has not confirmed whether that is the storyline that they're going to end up using for the adaptation. Duke has been one of the most iconic members of the G.I. Joe team for decades. He is often depicted as the leader in the franchise's films, animated series, comic books, and action figure collections. Prior to Cooper, Channing Tatum portrayed the character in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and G.I. Joe: Retaliation. More to come...
