NewsUK News A TODDLER has been taken to hospital after a dog allegedly lunged at his pushchair and bit his face – as cops make an urgent appeal. Officers were scrambled to Shirley Precinct in Southampton at around 3.20pm on August 21 following reports a dog had bitten a one-year-old boy. Officers have since been carrying out enquiries to determine the circumstances around the horror incident. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has also released a CCTV image of a woman who they think can help with in their investigation. She is described as white, 5ft 7ins tall, and of large build. Meanwhile, the dog, is said to have been wearing a soft mesh-style muzzle. A police spokesperson said: “If this is you, or if you know the woman, please call police on 101, quoting 44260407684. “Also, if you witnessed the incident, or have any relevant information, please contact us.” Most read in The Sun
