NewsUK News A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has tragically died and a woman has been hospitalised following a horror motorway collision. Emergency crews rushed to respond to the M4 in Wiltshire after receiving reports of a smash between junctions 16 and 17 last night. A Toyota reportedly collided with a Renault van leaving a woman seriously injured and a teen boy dead. Air ambulances responded and the woman was rushed to hospital while the teenage boy was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! The drivers of both vehicles were not seriously injured. According to police, the woman and the teen boy were both passengers in the Toyota. Wiltshire Police is appealing for anyone with any information or dash-cam footage of the fatal smash to come forward as they investigate the tragedy. The force said: “We need to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage. “Please contact the Serious Collision Investigation team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 398 of yesterday’s date (18/07).” The westbound carriageway was closed in the aftermath of the smash while the eastbound was held for two hours as air ambulances landed at the scene.
