Boy, 12 plummets to his death from roof after climbing barn with friends

NewsUK News A 12-YEAR-OLD boy has died after he climbed onto the roof of a barn with friends and fell off. Jaxon Robert Hubery was raced to hospital with serious injuries after he fell from the building near Bishop Auckland on July 24. He was treated at Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle but despite best efforts he died on Tuesday. Durham Police said it is working with the Health and Safety Executive to establish the circumstances of Jaxon’s fall. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! A spokesperson for the force said: “His family would like to thank those who have given them love and support throughout the last few days. “They are also urging other parents to keep their children away from the area. “Police are working alongside the Health and Safety Executive to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.“ A spokesperson for North East Ambulance Service previously said: “We were called to a person injured at an address in Woodhouses Bishop Auckland at 2.35pm on July 24. “We dispatched an ambulance crew, a clinical team leader, a rapid response paramedic and requested support from Great North Air Ambulance Service. “One patient was taken to hospital by road for further treatment.” Most read in The Sun
