Godzilla Minus Zero has led the charge on the domestic Top 5 and You Can See Everything is the only movie left standing. 2026's You Can See Everything is a smash-hit documentary from Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim which depicts them parsing truth from lies while spending time with Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes and her partner ahead of her prison sentence. The movie opened on October 16 with the best domestic debut for a non-concert documentary since 2004, which it followed with a week-on-week rise, in a first for an A24 movie that opened on more than 600 screens. In week 3, it climbed to No. 1 over the new release horror movie Clayface in a major upset. Per Variety, as of Sunday morning, You Can See Everything is projected to vacate the Top 2 after three consecutive weekends, as the new releases Godzilla Minus Zero and The Cat in the Hat are projected to occupy the No. 1 and No. 2 spots respectively. With a 3-day total of $8.8 million by the end of its fourth weekend in theaters, the Elizabeth Holmes documentary is set to drop a narrow 23%, landing at No. 4 on the domestic chart for the weekend. This result for 2026's Godzilla Minus Zero marks the first time that a Japanese-language Godzilla movie has ever debuted at No. 1 in North America and breaks the record for the highest-grossing opening weekend for a live-action foreign language movie. The movie, which is a direct sequel to the Oscar-winning 2023 smash hit Godzilla Minus One, had more than enough momentum to crush Warner Bros' new animated Dr. Seuss adaptation The Cat in the Hat, which was expected to have a stronger debut thanks to its PG rating opening it up to a wider audience than the R-rated kaiju movie. You Can See Everything is the only holdover title on the Top 5 chart at all, as the onslaught of new releases also includes the Angel Studios period piece Drummer Boy (No. 3) and the Bollywood epic Ramayana: Rise of a Legend (No. 5), which is projected to earn the fifth-best domestic debut in history for an Indian movie, which is a good sign that it is connecting, as it is by far the most expensive Indian film of all time (it reportedly cost roughly $210 million). Below, see the full projected domestic Top 5 chart for the weekend: # Title 3-Day Total Cumulative (Domestic) 1 Godzilla Minus Zero $31.6 million $31.6 million (weekend 1) 2 The Cat in the Hat $20 million $20 million (weekend 1) 3 Drummer Boy $9.3 million $9.3 million (weekend 1) 4 You Can See Everything $8.8 million $79.8 million (weekend 4) 5 Ramayana: Rise of a Legend $8.6 million $12.1 million (weekend 1) The titles that have departed the chart in the meantime are the DC Studios body horror movie Clayface (moving from No. 2 to No. 6 in week 3), the Laika stop-motion fantasy epic Wildwood (No. 3 to No. 7 in week 3), the offbeat romance Wicker (No. 4 to No. 9 in week 3), and the video game adaptation Street Fighter (No. 5 to outside the Top 10 entirely in week 4). Rearrange the movies into the correct US release order. Thanks to the enormous success of Godzilla Minus Zero being buoyed by a number of solid new releases and holdovers like You Can See Everything, this weekend is projected to earn $114 million overall and become the best first weekend of November of the decade so far, beating the same frame in 2021 ($109.7 million, led by the opening weekend of Eternals and the third weekend of Dune).
