AN UBER driver was thrown into a real-life action movie when two cops jumped in his vehicle while chasing a fleeing suspect in Houston. Army veteran Anthony Baines was completely caught off guard as he was forced to join the operation while on his way to pick up a customer. That way. Go, go, go, go!” they shouted. Baines, who kept his cool during the entire encounter, stopped to pick up the cop’s partner, who was giving chase but being outrun by the suspect, Fox26 Houston reported. Police had responded to a threat call nearby, where a man had allegedly threatened to shoot a woman and her children. He broke free when they tried to detain him and managed to evade their pursuit. Houston Police Officer’s Union President Doug Griffith praised Baines for helping the force. “There’s nothing that prohibits anyone from doing it,” he added. “There is also nothing that prohibits them from going, ‘No, I’m not going to do that, I don’t want to be involved.’ “There’s nothing that forces or compels anyone to help out.” Comment now
