BMW recently launched the BMW F450 GS and now at EICMA 2026 we have seen the BMW F 450 RR and must we say, it sure looks rather attractive. The bike comes with a full fairing with sharp LED DRLs flanking the projector headlamps. Now we know that there has been a lot of controversy about how this bike looks especially around the light area, but we must say that in flesh, it sure looks sharp. Adding to it are the mini winglets that overall give it a mini S 1000 RR feel.In profile too, the bike looks sharp with the exposed frame and the sleek tail section which houses the LED tail light panel. As far as the instrument panel is concerned, it gets the same unit as the GS variant and looks rather sophisticated. The engine is the 420cc parallel twin shared with the F 450 GS, delivering 48bhp and a maximum torque of 43Nm. The steel trellis frame uses the engine as a stressed member, with a wheelbase of 1,450 mm. The chassis highlights are a 43 mm KYB upside-down fork (with adjustable damping on the Sport versions), a KYB rear shock and a 310 mm front disc with Brembo radial caliper. The electronics package includes ABS Pro with cornering function, Dynamic Brake Control and dynamic traction control. Weight is 177 kg ready to ride. Also standing out are three riding modes (Rain, Road, Race), a bidirectional electronic quickshifter (not on the Base) and a reversible shift pattern, a first for the segment.Subscribe to Auto Today Magazine - Ends
