‘Bloodaxe’ Season 2 Adds Five to Cast

The Amazon Prime Video series “Bloodaxe” is building out its Season 2 cast ahead of the series premiere. The historical epic has yet to set its premiere date, but was renewed for a second season back in June. Gard Løkke (“Home for Christmas,” “The Trip to the Northern Lights”) will join the show’s second season as a series regular, while Melina Åkerman (“Succedera Questa Notte,” “Granite Harbour”), Kieran Bew (“House of the Dragon,” “Beowulf”), Sebastian Bull (“2 Days,” “Azrael”), and George Burgess (“Beast,” “Spartacus: House of Ashur”) will recur. The second season is now filming in Ireland.
