Blakeman rips ‘selfish’ Stefanik after losing New York governor’s race

Blakeman's defeat in the New York governor's race against incumbent Kathy Hochul has sparked a political feud with Rep. Elise Stefanik, whom he accused of being selfish and not supporting Republican candidates. This fallout underscores the internal divisions within the Republican party as they struggle to unify behind common strategies in statewide races. The criticism from Blakeman suggests a growing tension over party leadership and the effectiveness of current representatives, highlighting the challenges Republicans face in competitive Democratic-leaning states.
