The undefeated Vikings have earned an honor. Linebacker Blake Cashman has been named NFC defensive player of the week. Cashman finished Minnesota’s 16-10 victory over the Colts with 12 total tackles, four passes defensed, and 2.0 sacks.According to the league, he’s the first player since 2000 to have at least 12 tackles, four PDs, and 2.0 sacks in a single game.This is the second time Cashman has won defensive player of the week. The first was in 2023 for his Week 6 performance with Houston.The Vikings will try to keep their winning streak going against the Lions in Week 8.
