The announcement also answers one of the MCU’s biggest lingering questions. Jonsson will portray T’Challa II, the grown-up son of the late King T’Challa and Nakia, who was first introduced at the end of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In a touching move, they've chosen to carry on the bloodline rather than recasting Chadwick Boseman’s beloved hero, and ensuring that Marvel Studios is continuing his legacy through his son, who now appears ready to inherit both the mantle of Black Panther and the throne of Wakanda.
