BJP paid for making Samrat Choudhary CM: Prashant Kishor jabs BJP after Bankipur win

In an interview with India Today after winning the Bankipur constituency, Jan Suraaj Party leader Prashant Kishor discussed breaching the BJP's thirty-year-old stronghold. Kishor stated that people create and destroy strongholds, asserting that voters rejected the BJP due to political arrogance and dissatisfaction with the leadership chosen for Bihar. He raised concerns regarding Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary's governance, educational credentials, and past record, stating that appointing someone associated with previous lawlessness contradicted the public mandate against 'Jungle Raj'. Kishor clarified that his opposition was not personal but aimed at securing better governance, education, and employment for Bihar. He appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to prioritize industrial development and job creation in the state rather than relying solely on free grain schemes. Kishor cautioned that if the central leadership fails to address public grievances regarding education, employment, and migration, the political revolt observed in Bankipur would extend to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
