Billy Crystal will stay on Broadway for a month longer than expected: He’s extended the run of 860, his new solo play, by six weeks through Sunday, February 14, 2027. The limited-engagement production, which opened to favorable reviews on October 21, was originally set to close Sunday, January 3, 2027, but has been extended due to popular demand. Attendance has been strong, with the Imperial Theatre close to sell-out in recent weeks and weekly grosses in excess of $1 million. The latest box office figures for the show for the week ending October 25 will be out later today. In the show, Crystal recounts the aftermath of the Palisades fire that destroyed his longtime home (the title refers to the house’s street address), using the tragic incident as an emotional springboard to reflect on his life, family and friends during the decades spent living in the house, and on what was lost to the fire and time. Watch on Deadline 860 is written by Crystal and directed by Scott Ellis, and produced by Janice Crystal, James L. Nederlander, Larry Magid, and Face Productions.
