Billy Baldwin names the A-list actress he refused to kiss on camera as he swears he’d ‘never ever’ work with her again

Billy Baldwin will “never, ever work with” Sharon Stone again after they starred in “Sliver” in 1993. The actor name-dropped his former co-star during Tuesday’s episode of the “Lisa Guerrero Unleashed” podcast — and explained why he refused to kiss her while filming the erotic thriller. The 63-year-old claimed there was “tension” between himself and the Golden Globe winner, 68, on set, leaving “everybody miserable.” Billy Baldwin blasted Sharon Stone as a co-star he will “never, ever work with” again on Tuesday. Lisa Guerrero/YouTube “We got along pretty well the first couple weeks,” he recalled. “And then she wouldn’t say ‘hello’ or ‘goodbye’ to me for the next three months.” Baldwin insisted he felt so uncomfortable that he scheduled a meeting with producers to say he couldn’t film the last of the film’s four love scenes. He ultimately acquiesced, saying, “I can do the scene but just please don’t make me kiss her. … I can’t kiss her.” The former model alleged this resulted in an iconic scene between his character, Zeke Hawkins, and Stone’s character, Carly Norris, hooking up against a support column. Baldwin, who had “never told anyone [the story] before,” predicted, “This could go viral.” Elsewhere in the sitdown, he called Stone out for what he dubbed a “lie” from her 2021 memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice,” and promo tour. While Stone claimed at the time that producer Robert Evans pressured her to sleep with Baldwin to make his performance “better,” Baldwin said he was given the same spiel. “He wasn’t talking about Sharon not being able to act,” he said, praising her “11 out of 10” screen presence. “He was saying, ‘I keep getting reports that there’s incredibly bad tension. We know what it’s all about. All this pent-up sexual energy tension. Just do it and get it over with.'” He claimed his request led to an iconic hookup in “Sliver” (pictured above). ©Paramount/Courtesy Everett Collection Baldwin also lashed out at “silly” Stone for claiming she’d been told to sleep with him to better his performance. ©Paramount/Courtesy Everett Collection Baldwin called Stone “silly” for implying otherwise and “badmouth[ing]” his acting skills on “Larry King Live” the week of the premiere — and 30 years after the film’s release. He made additional claims about Stone, from her allegedly having “a shrine to [him] in her trailer complete with “candles and pictures” to her walking on crutches for days after he stepped on her with a socked foot mid-scene. Baldwin also claimed she told pal Janice Dickinson plans to “make him fall so hard for [her] … [his head would] f–king spin” — which Dickinson has previously denied. After allegedly “setting the record straight,” Baldwin would “love to bury the hatchet” with her, sharing his hopes that he could “shake her hand” or “give her a hug.” Stone (pictured above on May 19) did so in her 2021 memoir — and spoke about the drama again three years later. Getty Images In 2024, Baldwin (pictured above in July 202) threatened to spill “so much dirt” on Stone. Getty Images While the pair have since “run into each other” at an airport and a car show, he said they have “never talked.” Stone’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment. When Stone brought the drama back into headlines in 2024, Baldwin threatened to reveal “so much dirt” on her — but refrained from doing so at the time.
