Big Walk has been a big hit. Publisher Panic confirmed House House’s new release has already sold one million copies. That’s only the half of it, though. Not only are Big Walk’s sales already in the seven-figure range, but it is currently the best-selling game on Steam. According to Steam’s top sellers, which reveals which 100 games, along with Valve’s hardware, are selling best right now and is updated every day, Big Walk is currently its third best seller. However, due to the nature of what can be found in the two spots above it, that technically means Big Walk is currently outselling everything else on the platform. Big Walk Is Currently Steam's Best-Selling Game Steam ranks its best sellers based on revenue. That’s why the $1,050 Steam Machine is currently number one. Big Walk would need to outsell the console at a rate of 70-to-one to outrank it. The only game that’s currently sitting higher than Big Walk is Counter-Strike 2, and that technically doesn’t count. In just six days, over one million of you have bought Big Walk, our co-op adventure all about talking and walking. We are so grateful that so many of you are spending time with our game. And we deeply appreciate your fanart, your streams, your stories, and your moments. Thank you for playing. — Panic (@panic.com) 2026-08-10T17:01:54.526Z It doesn’t count because Counter-Strike is a free game. The revenue generated by the ever-popular title is through in-game purchases, which means, technically, the game itself isn’t outselling Big Walk. Big Walk doesn’t have any in-game purchases, which means its third place position has been earned by game sales alone. Big Walk Is Outselling Everything Even Though It's On Sale Scroll on down through some of the other best-selling games on Steam right now and the fact Big Walk currently ranks so highly only gets more impressive. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is four places lower, pre-orders for Madden NFL 27 are even lower than that, and Palworld, which has maintained a player count of around half a million people since its 1.0 release, is in 14th. To make Big Walk’s accomplishments even more impressive again, it is cheaper than all of those games. Again, these rankings are based on revenue, not copies sold. Big Walk is currently on sale for $15. That means it is outselling Marvel Tokon at a rate of at least four-to-one on Steam, but likely far more than that. Steam is only the half of it for Big Walk, too, potentially even less than half. It’s also available on Switch 2 and PS5, and you can get it through PS Plus on the latter. Panic’s announcement that Big Walk has sold one million copies specifically notes that’s people who have bought the game, which presumably means it doesn’t count those who have played it through Plus.
