Specifically, after spending $8,000 within the first six months you can earn 100,000 Bonvoy bonus points plus a free night award worth up to 50,000 points (resort fees and terms apply). As you can tell, this offer is worth a maximum of up to 150,000 points. For what it’s worth, I value Bonvoy points at 0.7 cents each, so I’d value the entire welcome offer at up to $1,050, which is significantly better than the standard offer. For example, you’re typically limited to having a total of five Amex credit cards (not including hybrid cards), regardless of whether they’re personal or business, and there’s also the “once in a lifetime” rule.
