She jetted to LA and was living with a close friend whilst making good money, but came crashing back down to reality after falling pregnant with her son Jaxon and moving home to the UK alone. She continued: “When I had Jaxon, I had nothing, I had spent all my money. “I was no longer with his dad. I remember sitting in my flat, which was a beautiful flat, and I remember thinking, ‘How the hell am I going to pay for this?’. “And I was too proud to ask for any help, and I remember somebody said to me, ‘Why don’t you ask for help’, and I said, ‘What do you mean?’, they were like, ‘Why don’t you ask for help from the government?’ as in benefits.” Most read in TV Laura – who said she blew all her money during her younger years -continued that she decided to take the suggestion up and headed to the benefits office to ask for financial support. After going through with the appointment and explaining her situation, she says that the meeting was the wake-up call she needed to reset her life. Laura also said she had “been cancelled from everything” after her stint on the show, admitting she didn’t earn much following her reality stint. She ended up turning to creating X-rated content on adult subscription site OnlyFans, which she says “saved her life”. Laura famously had a very tumultuous time on Big Brother and was seen having sex on camera with fellow housemate Marco. At the time, the son of superstar chef Marco said his fiancée had given him a ‘hall pass’, meaning he had free reign to get with other women. But after he used it to have a steamy romance with Laura, his other half Kim spoke out and said they were very much not in an open relationship. They split immediately after Marco was evicted from the show, with Laura later admitting she also regretted having a romance with him in the house.
