Big Brother set for ‘biggest row ever’ after Jedward crashes into the house

The Irish models and musicians, who first appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2011, are back in the civilian House this year for Double Trouble week. They came third during their first BB stint, then returned for an all-stars edition in 2017, when they finished as runners-up. Sunday night saw the duo, real names John and Edward Grimes, ‘hatch’ from a pink egg in the House garden, much to the housemates’ bemusement. And in tonight’s episode, the twins are set to clash with Rhianna over her relationship with Omar and Lynx, who is smitten with Chelsey – and it will all unfold in the hot tub. A preview clip shows the brothers telling a stunned Chelsey that she is ‘not on Love Island or Made in Chelsea’, and that she needs to ‘look in the mirror’ and ask ‘Who am I?’ Jedward rowing with Big Brother housemates from the hot tub was not something we expected this series (Picture: Shutterstock for Big Brother) She reports back to Lynx, who is also shocked that the remarks came from the pair, leading to him confronting them in the tub. Shouting, he asks, ‘Are you f***ing insane?’ and launches towards one of the siblings while they splash water at him aggressively. The housemate walks off, branding them ‘idiots’ and demanding they ‘stay the f**k away’ from him. Other housemates seemingly attempt to step in and calm the situation, but it only leads to more rows and even tears. In the Instagram comments of the BB page, fans were living for the drama, with 2025 housemate Zelah writing: ‘Jedward starting a serious water fight was not on my bingo card😭🤣’ ‘TV GOLD EVERY 👏🏿DAMN 👏🏿 DAY!’, said host AJ Odudu. The twins are set to bring even more chaos to the House (Picture: Shutterstock for Big Brother) Others called the current series a ‘fever dream’ already, thanks to the chaos and arguments that have already erupted, and called for the casting team to be given ‘a pay rise’. Meanwhile, a show insider told The Sun: ‘Jedward’s comments will be popular on the outside because Big Brother fans hate a showmance, but even they didn’t realise how badly it would go down with the cast.’ The source added that, once word gets ‘back to Lynx’, that’s when fireworks begin. ‘He storms over to Jedward to say his piece, but they happen to be in the hot tub. ‘The twins end up splashing water all over him in the row, then all the housemates step in and pull Lynx away.’ ‘Obviously, Johanne’s already got beef with Lynx after he sided with Chelsey in their row over the weekend, and this sparks a mad three-way back-and-forth between Johanne, Rhianna, and Chelsey,’ they added. During their bizarre entrance to the house, Rochelle immediately asked: ‘Who the f**k is it?’ to which Johanne replied, ‘I don’t know what they are.’ On X, viewers found it hilarious that they did not know who the TV personalities were. Mark Marriott wrote: ‘I think we need to see a conversation where literally anyone explains who Jedward are to Rochelle and Johanne. Because where does that start…’ Declan added: ‘Rochelle’s face at jedward I’m screaming.’ ‘Help, not Johanne and Rochelle not knowing who Jedward are,’ Candylemons said. Johanne and Rochelle are already proving themselves to be big personalities this season, with the pair engaging in the first bust-up and declaring just days in that they ‘really don’t like’ each other. Earlier that day, they had clashed when sharing opinions on religion, as when Rochelle noted that ‘dog is God spelt backwards’, Johanne said the comparison was ‘a bit much’. In true reality television style, this escalated, and Rochelle accused Johanne of ‘intimidating’ people. Later in the night during a group game, tension continued, as Rochelle was asked which person she would be least likely to remain in contact with after the show – of course, she said Johanne. Then, when asked which housemate ‘annoys’ her the most, Johanne said Rochelle’s name. But this isn’t the only row we’ve seen since last weekend’s launch, as a ‘fat-shaming’ row also erupted between Rochelle and 19-year-old Millie, who discussed her gastric sleeve surgery and was told she needed to ‘put her mind to it’ about losing weight.
