BIG Brother star Kate Lawler hinted at a second tenure in the House more than two decades after winning – as she hosts the new spin-off. The 46-year-old claimed victory on Big Brother in 2002, when the show was on its third series. The pair appeared during Sunday night’s launch show for the new series, where they spoke to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! Will asked Kate: “How’s this launch night making you feel? Obviously, this is probably bringing back memories of 2002, of your own launch night.” She responded: “If I can remember that far back. The last time I was at a launch night, it was the night I went in. Kate and GK Barry are hosting a new visualised spin-off podcast called Big Brother: The Group Chat Credit: ITV Kate and GK spoke to Big Brother hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu Credit: ITV “I didn’t have a clue, 100 quid in my bank and I won! And then my life changed and it was great. I feel very nostalgic.” Will then asked Kate if she’d go back into the House, to which she replied: “Never say never”. This promptedhim to joke: “Well that’s lucky because…”, as Kate then quipped: “I’m off…” Big Brother: The Group Chat airs straight after Big Brother on ITV2, ITVX and YouTube. Kate said previously of the opportunity: “Big Brother has been a huge part of my life since I first stepped through those doors 24 years ago, so to now be returning in this role alongside the fantastic GK Barry feels like an exciting full-circle moment. “I can’t wait to get stuck into all the conversations, twists and talking points with the fans, while bringing a little of my own first-hand experience to the mix.” Big Brother airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
