By Carol Robinson | crobinson@al.comAn Alabama mother is under arrest, accused of trying to stab her sons with a kitchen knife and assaulting her teen daughter.Kendra Yolanda Griffin, 44, is charged with two counts of attempted murder, one count of third-degree domestic violence/assault, and first-degree kidnapping, according to court records. The incident happened at 5 a.m. Wednesday at the family’s Brent home in Bibb County. Charging documents state that Griffin tried to stab her two sons – believed to be ages 12 and 18 - with a kitchen knife, but the sons were able to “grab knife blade with hand and managed to get away.”The records state Griffin assaulted the 16-year-old year daughter by “fighting” and that the daughter was injured.No additional details were released.
