The community-made chapter called Chorus of Sin is coming to Dead By Daylight on August 25, 2026, after a bunch of votes that allowed the players to decide the killer's power and every character's design, including the mori. Aurora Stardotter is the survivor in this chapter since she marginally won in the final vote. Aurora is an astrologer hailing from the planet that was destroyed by The Judgement (killer). Her age highlights her experience and when she talks, it becomes obvious that she's been through a lot. If you want to play this character in DBD, here are some fun builds you can make with her teachable perks. Aurora's Teachable Perks And Synergies Like every new character released in Dead By Daylight, Aurora also comes with three teachable perks that can be unlocked on every other survivor once you prestige her for the first time. After prestiging her thrice, these perks are unlocked at the highest tiers for all other survivors. Here's what these perks do: Perk Description Fruits Of Your Labor You get a token for every generator that gets finished. If you finish a generator, you get five percent haste for two seconds and 20 percent overall healing progress. This lets you heal up fully if you're on the final generator when it pops. Salvation's Cry Whenever the killer starts a chase with you and you have this perk, you can see other survivors for three seconds while the survivors not getting chased see you and the killer for five. This can be quite good against top-tier killers like Nurse and Blight since they go in and out of chase often. Boon: Steadfast You can light up a totem with this perk, and once lit up, you'll see the generators in its radius. These generators regress 50 percent slower and survivors can repair them ten percent faster, making it great for three-gen situations. While none of these perks are meta-defining, they're also not completely useless. However, you can get a lot more value out of them if you combine them with some other synergistic perks. Fruits Of Your Labor Build In theory, you might think that Fruits Of Your Labor is good to use with Adrenaline since they can both give you haste if you pop the last generator, but that's usually not that good due to diminishing returns. Instead, you should focus on other perks that can trigger when a generator pops: Poised This perk lets you see the killer's aura for eight seconds when you touch a generator for the first time, and it lets you remove your scratch marks for 30 seconds when a generator is done. This can be decent to get out of chases so that you can get on generators and get value from Fruits Of Your Labor. Hope When the final generator gets done, this perk gives you a permanent five percent Haste effect. It'll only be 2.5 percent for the first two seconds due to diminishing returns with Fruits Of Your Labor, but it can be phenomenal after that. Wake Up! Another perk that works after the final generator is done; this one lets you open the exit gates up to 50 percent faster. Salvation's Cry Build Contrary to Fruits Of Your Labor, Salvation's Cry is all about getting chased by the killer as much as possible, which means that you should be confident that you'll last long. Thankfully, there are a few perks that can help both you and your team while you're getting chased: Quick Gambit This perk lets you see all other survivors permanently when you're getting chased and they can also repair generators five percent faster. If you can last long without taking hits, it can be great, but it enters a 40-second cooldown if you get hit. Bound By Obsession a.k.a. Object Of Obsession If you have this perk on and get the Obsession effect, you can see the killer's location every 30 seconds while they see yours. It's single-handedly the best perk to make the killers come after you. Resilience Resilience is undoubtedly one of the best perks you can use in a chase, as it gives you nine percent vaulting speed when you're injured. While this might not sound good in theory, it can let you get away with vaults that you wouldn't even expect. Boon: Steadfast Build The boon perks were overtuned when they were first released, but now they've been nerfed quite a lot. You have to spend 16 seconds to boon a totem after you find one, which makes them weak if you're only using one. However, if you combine four boon perks, you can get a strong section for survivors on the map: Boon: Circle Of Healing If an injured survivor comes within the radius of your boon, every other survivor can see their aura and heal them at double the speed. Boon: Exponential If the killer slugs the survivors in the boon radius, they can pick themselves up an infinite number of times. This perk is situational, and you can always replace it with Shadow Step to get more value. Boon: Dark Theory If you like getting chased, this perk can give you three percent Haste in the boon's radius, which is nothing to scoff at. However, the killer will likely remove the boon since they can hear it clearly if they're near it. If you're new to the game, you can replace Dark Theory with Small Game so that you can find totems more easily, but it's recommended to remember the totem spots since it's a waste of a perk slot. You can also use a map item with the Sharpened Flint add-on for a similar effect.
