He’s pedantic and quite unpleasant towards his wife.” Adam has been praised in reviews for the show, with many outlets gushing over his incredible performance. Broadway World said: “We watch both dinners implode at once in a scrupulously choreographed blur of slapstick fireworks. Most read in TV “Adam Gillen’s mesmerisingly Buster Keaton-like physicality is mostly to credit for this.” And SouthLondon said Adam was one of the show’s “standout performances”. This comes months after we revealed that Adam had tied the knot with his co-star from ITV show Benidorm. Benidorm’s Liam and Cyd, played by stars Adam and Laila Zaidi, had started dating a year after she joined the comedy drama. Six years later the happy couple tied the knot. They shared images of their special day at Hackney Town Hall alongside the caption: “6/1/26 – LEGALLY speaking Mr & Mrs”. Comment now
