My last day with the company will be - August 25, 2026.” Explaining her decision, she added, “I can't stand any cigarette smell. I tried to adjust as much as I could but couldn't. I'm not the one who needs to change anyway.”The post prompted questions about where the smoking was taking place. Responding to one such query, Janhavi said people smoked in the “pantry room” and dining area, while some would then sit beside her. Cigarette smoke would spread through the lobby where she worked. She even tried wearing a mask, but it did not help. Her decision resonated with several people who shared similar experiences with second-hand smoke at work.
