Reviewing the progress of the work, the Commissioner asked officials to prevent garbage dumping at the site by installing barricades, ensure regular cleaning of the area, stop vehicles from being parked within the work zone, and deploy security personnel. He noted that the project is being carried out in a busy part of the city and said the surroundings should be kept orderly during the construction period. Later, the Commissioner met C.N. Ashwath Narayan, Malleswaram MLA, to discuss the operation and maintenance of the Malleswaram Sports Complex.
