Bengaluru horror: Man arrested for sexually assaulting cow

25-year-old man was arrested in Bengaluru for sexually assaulting a cow.BENGALURU: A 25-year-old youth was arrested Thursday on charges of sexually assaulting a cow at Weavers Colony, Nelamangala, on the city’s outskirts.The accused -- Nizamuddin, a native of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh -- was staying at a relative's house in Nelamangala.Police said the incident occurred in broad daylight on a street. Residents and passers-by caught Nizamuddin in the act and detained him. Before the incident, they accused Nizamuddin of engaging in indecent behaviour and making inappropriate gestures at a woman in the neighbourhood.As news of the incident spread, members of Hindu organisations, led by activists including Puneeth Kerehalli, gathered outside Nelamangala Town police station, demanding legal action against the accused."Such heinous acts against animals in public spaces are abhorrent and unacceptable. We have demanded that police register a stringent case and ensure maximum punishment under the law,” said Pune
