Ben Simmons and the Sacramento Kings have agreed to a one-year contract. The deal will be for the veteran minimum at $3.5 million. Simmons makes his NBA return after sitting out the 2025-26 season. Sacramento recently waived-and-stretch DeMar DeRozan's dead money cap hit. That got the Kings the under the luxury tax, while leaving enough room to sign two players to veteran minimum deals.
